Mayank Thammalla grew up in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand and spent his childhood surrounding himself with nature's beauty. Currently, he is a junior architect & photographer based in Auckland, New Zealand. From a young age, he was always inspired by the natural environment that he was surrounded with and knew that he was destined to work in the creative industry.

He began taking casual photos in mid 2011, working with just a point and shoot camera. Gradually, he started developing a passion and purchased his first DSLR in early 2012. From then onwards, his passion evolved into an obsession and there was no turning back.

For Mayank, photography is the best way to show the intricate world what he feels within him. His work focuses on the human form and the process of infusing it with the natural surroundings.
